Coach Buddy

Coach Buddy is a fully-responsive website using GPS tracking and location services to bring information to three specific audiences

Coach Buddy for Coach Drivers

Coach drives have access to over 600 UK towns and cities including coach drop-off and coach parking details - all with postcodes for Sat Nav use. Each town has a brief description and contact telephone, website and email address of the local TIC (Tourism Information Centre). Many towns also have details of local markets, shopping venues and points of interest. Local attractions can be found at the click of a button.

Coach Buddy contains details of hundreds of ‘comfort break’ locations giving drivers the ability to plan toilet breaks on their routes.

Many Coach Buddy attractions offer ‘driver incentives’, ranging from free refreshments and meal vouchers to free entry and other incentives for bringing coach groups. These can be found on the Driver Offers section of the website.

Working alongside Transport for London, the website also lists all of the coach drop off/ pick up locations in London and all of the coach parking details.

For drivers taking trips into Europe, Coach Buddy provides details of legal document requirements, driving regulations, vehicle equipment, tolls, speeds and emergency telephone numbers for 16 EU countries.

Safety is paramount in transporting passenger - be that on day trips or longer UK and continental breaks - so drivers are provided with a simple to use ‘daily vehicle walk round check’ to ensure their coaches are fully compliant and safe.

A live Twitter feed provides real-time traffic information for all areas of the UK.

Coach Buddy for Coach and Tour Operators

With over 2,500 attractions detailed, alongside hotel, destination and comfort break details, Coach Buddy is an ideal tool for operators to plan day tours and UK excursions.

Our geo-mapping system allows operators to identify which attractions, hotels and destinations are close by to a specified location. All attractions, destinations and hotels can then be directly contacted from within Coach Buddy by phone or email.

By working with numerous industry bodies and associations, listings help operators identify those attractions and destinations who are ‘Coach Friendly’ and more likely to enhance their customers experience.

Working alongside our media partner travelGBI, operators can also access the latest industry news from our dedicated news platform. Within the London section, a full listing of over 40 current theatre productions and shows can be found - including reviews.

It is also an ideal platform for group travel organisers and frequent independent travellers (FITs).

Coach Buddy for Coach Passengers
