Tony Henthorn

Tony is a seasoned media professional having started his career with the Guardian & Manchester Evening News before moving to Peterborough to head up sales and marketing with numerous emap titles.

Between 2004 and 2016 he worked for Expo Management (bought by Diversified Communications in 2015) and was responsible for publishing platforms and exhibitions across the coach and bus and tourism sectors – Coach Monthly, Route One, Best of Britain & Ireland Show (now BTTS) and European Bus Expo.

He has a broad range of skills across sales, marketing, database management, project management, communications and management at all levels of organisations.

Tony prides himself in not only developing product platforms and strategy, but also in the development of people and teams and in finding creative solutions for SME business challenges.

As part of the Cheeky Monkey Media offering, Tony has created Coach Buddy, a fully-responsive website using GPS tracking and location services to bring information to Coach drivers, coach and tour operators and coach passengers (for more information see the Cheeky Brands section of website).

Simon Greenbury

Simon has over 30 years’ national and international marketing communications experience specialising in the travel, leisure, exhibitions and events sector.

He has worked for National Tourist Offices, industry associations, destinations, hotel groups, attractions and travel and leisure exhibitions.

Having worked for Reed Travel Exhibitions on WTM, IBTM international shows and ILTM, he became marketing director for the Boat and Caravan Show and event director for Best of Britain & Ireland Show (now BBTS).

With strong organisational and development skills, he is a team player with key strengths being in marketing, strategy and brand development, copywriting and event organising. Utilising his drama background, he has recently developed a new way to evaluate meetings and visitor experiences through the eye of a theatre director highlighting emotional responses – tom.
